Statutory Liability can protect you against statutory prosecutions for the majority of New Zealand Acts and Regulations of Parliament, and includes cover for fines (excluding the Health & Safety at Work Act fine), reparation and legal costs. Examples of Acts of Parliament that this policy applies to are the Resource Management Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, Fair Trading Act, Goods and Services Tax Act.
Employers' Liability protects you from claims from staff injured in the workplace, where they are not covered by ACC.
